#2 • The Fastest Option •
. . . . . . . . . . . . .((All Models)
Many installations are so simple and straight forward they can be done by just looking closely at the Illustrations. Find one close to yours, assemble the parts in a similar way, and bolt it on.
R&M uses Erector Set® and Lego®
logic - standardized parts assembled in different ways for different purposes.
#3 • Select Location •
Trailer without batteries & propane
& non-Extended models.
▶︎ Locate as far back as possible.

. • Avoid, trim or remove the battery
. bracket to clear relocated jack.

.. to create the required length using at
.. least three bolts for each connection.
#5 • Mount Side-to-Side •
▶︎ Set the Side-to-Side in its new
.. permanent location on the tongue.
. • Mount as far back as possible to
.. maximize useful space on front.
. • Can be mounted off-center to
.. avoid brackets, etc.
▶︎ Position top shackles alongside the
.. the bars, astride the frame rails.
▶︎ Bolt the top shackles to the bars.

.. lead nut in its cage.in the platform.
. • The lead screw installs on either
... side, facing either end, four
.. possible positions.
▶︎ Snap crank onto drive nut & rotate to
.. check clearance. Move lead screw as
.. necessary for crank to turn freely. . • The lead screw can be easily
.. re-positioned without de-installing
.. the STS or jack.
▶︎ Bolt the two end plates to the outside
.. of the end caps to lock the lead
.. screw in place.
#8 • Install Extension Kit •
(JB, STS, Step 2 of 2)
▶︎ For Extended models installs only.
▶︎ Bolt extension caps, with slots facing
.. up, to the inside of the extension bar
.. on each end.
. • Fits on only one side of each end
.. because the slots must face up.

.. equidistant from the adjacent bar.
▶︎ Slide the socket on the lead
. extension onto the drive nut on the
. lead screw as you set it into the
. notches in the extension cap.
. • If necessary, use the included Allen
. wrench to adjust the shaft collar so
. the socket stays on the drive nut..
▶︎ Bolt the two end plates to the outside

.. the lead extension in place. Both also
.. serve as accessory hold downs.
.. • End plates can face in or out as
. required to mount accessories.
#9 • Install Front Addition •
▶︎ For Front Addition installs only.
▶︎ Bolt Front Addition brackets to
. . the bars spaced so they match the
... mounting holes in the propane rack.
. • They can be bolted anywhere on
.. the bars, facing front or back.
. • They can be off-center, or offset
. to either side.
